Dearborn police are asking the public’s help in identifying a white male who allegedly was recording women in a Henry Ford College restroom.

DEARBORN – Police are investigating a Feb. 28 incident where a man was seen in a women’s restroom at Henry Ford College.

About 4:05 p.m., a female student reported that, while inside the female restroom on the third floor of Building G, she saw a white male inside a restroom stall.

The man had a video recording device that was pointed in her direction. The student was able to obtain a photograph of the male as he ran away.

The Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the man.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Police Department at 313-943-2225. Anyone wishing to remain anonymous can call CrimeStoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP.

“Our investigators continue to gather details on this concerning incident,” Police Chief Issa Shahin said. “It is important that our students feel safe and secure at their learning institutions. I encourage the individual depicted in the photograph to come forward and provide an explanation for his actions.”
