RIVERVIEW — A 35-year-old man who was speeding the afternoon of March 7 on southbound Grange Road near Meadows Drive was subject to a traffic stop, which revealed his driver’s license, issued in New York, was suspended.
The man had never acquired a Michigan driver’s license, but because he lived in Riverview and had two small children in the car, he was allowed to wait for a licensed driver to arrive at the scene, instead of his silver Audi Q7 being impounded and towed.
He was cited for driving with a suspended license.
