ALLEN PARK — A Michigan license plate that expired in April 2020 has been generating moving violations within the state of Florida, captured by an electronic plate reader, which were then mailed to the original owner of the license plate.

The victim, who filed a complaint June 20, said he has never been to Florida, and has no idea when his expired license plate was pilfered. The plate was entered into the Law Enforcement Information Network as stolen.
