DEARBORN — A teen with a graduated license was cited for careless driving the night of June 26 when he ran multiple stop signs, while on an unregistered mini-bike with no license plate, while driving west on Morross Street from Wyoming Avenue to Middlepointe Street.
When the young man saw police officers, he tried to hide the minibike behind his uncle’s garage, then attempted to flee on foot, but another police officer located him and returned him to the scene.
The boy’s adult older brother was contacted, and the teen was eventually released to him. The minibike was impounded and the teen was told to contact 19th District Court for an appearance date.
