SOUTHGATE — A woman in the 16000 block of Cameron Street reported the afternoon of Aug. 6 that a newer model black Dodge Charger with tinted windows stopped in front of her house when her son was out playing alone in the front yard.

She said the car was parked in front of her house with no one getting out for several minutes, which she found to be suspicious. When she went outside and started to walk toward the car with her arms in a questioning stance, the driver quickly turned around and drove off.

The woman gave a possible license plate number to police officers and said she wanted to document the incident.
