SOUTHGATE — A woman who felt her fish was served raw the night of Nov. 11 at Olive Garden, 15355 Eureka Road, was subsequently banned from the property after several witnesses said she created a scene.

The complainant got in a tug of war with her waitress over a plate of food, which the customer was trying to photograph when the waitress arrived to remove it. The patron said her hand was injured during the struggle, but by the time police officers arrived, they could see no visible marks.

The waitress said she released the plate as soon as the woman grabbed it back. A nearby customer said the complainant was loud, boisterous and disorderly, and that the waitress did nothing wrong.

The police officers then went to the parking lot and told the women that she was banned from the business, after which she left without incident.
