ALLEN PARK — Two men were arrested Nov. 30 for attempting to steal 42 items, collectively valued at $251, from the grocery section of Meijer, 3565 Fairlane Drive.
The men used the self-checkout lane, and scanned only a few items, totaling $11, while bagging the other merchandise without paying for it. They then attempted to leave the store without paying for the items.
Both men were taken into custody, cited and released after posting bond. Their vehicle was impounded and towed.
