ALLEN PARK — A man was detained by loss prevention personnel at Home Depot the afternoon of Jan. 18 when he attempted to leave the store with a Chapin ice melt spreader valued at $140 and a $100 Rigid shop vacuum.
The man had no prior arrest warrants. He was cited for retail fraud, banned from the store and released at the scene.
