ALLEN PARK —A man with wire cutters snipped the security cable tethering an iPhone 15 Pro Max, valued at $1,200, the evening of Feb. 27 from the Verizon store at 3128 Fairlane Drive.
He was described as a black male wearing a winter hat, sunglasses, a camouflage jacket, gray pants and green shoes.
An employee said the man had entered the store two times earlier that day, acting suspiciously each time.
After slicing the security cable, the man pocketed the phone and ran north toward Oakwood Boulevard.
Surveillance footage of the theft was forwarded to the Allen Park Police Department.
