MELVINDALE — A teen who ran a stop sign at Ruth Street and Oakwood Boulevard at 8 a.m. April 2 injured a Melvindale police corporal when he crashed his vehicle into the officer’s patrol car.
Both vehicles were damaged, with the airbags deployed in both vehicles. The corporal was taken to the hospital, and is currently on medical leave while recovering at home.
