Dangling bumper leads to warrant arrest

MELVINDALE — A 27-year-old man from Eastpointe who was seen driving with the rear bumper dangling from his black Chevy Malibu at 3 a.m. June 22 on Outer Drive was taken into custody when a check of the license plate revealed that the vehicle owner had a suspended license and numerous arrest warrants. 

A traffic stop was initiated and the man was held for police officers from Eastpointe to take him into custody for an outstanding warrant.
