ALLEN PARK —A man wearing a medical face mask stole two Geek Bar disposable vapes, valued at $15 apiece, the afternoon of Aug. 1 from the Southfield Gas and Go, 17001 Southfield Road.
The man approached the cashier, reached around the glass barrier, grabbed the vapes and left the store without paying for the items.
He was described as a white male in his mid-20s with brown hair, a brown jacket, and jean shorts, who drove off in a gray minivan.
Security camera footage of the theft was available, and the complainant said they would forward it to the police detective bureau.
