ALLEN PARK — A shoplifter was cited for third degree retail fraud Aug. 19 at Target, 3100 Fairlane Drive, after he attempted to exit the store with a purchased backpack filled with shoplifted items totaling $145 in value.

Loss prevention personnel reported that they had surveillance footage of the man stuffing the backpack with merchandise, as well as attempting to exit the store without rendering payment.
