SOUTHGATE — Two young men worked in tandem the night of Nov. 14 to purchase gift cards at the Dollar Tree, 13894 Northline Road, using stolen debit and credit cards.
A store employee said the 12 gift cards fraudulently purchased were a mixture of Foot Locker, PlayStation and Visa gift cards.
The men, who were dressed in dark clothing, left in a newer model black sedan.
Within an hour of the transactions, the store received three calls from people whose cards were fraudulently used at the store.
An employee said a store manager would access surveillance camera footage of the men and forward it to the police detective bureau.
