HEIGHTS — A Dearborn Heights man reported Dec. 13 that he was tricked into supplying his Social Security number, Michigan driver’s license number, address and debit card information to a caller claiming to be with T-Mobile who offered him six iPhone 16 Pro Max smart phones for a $182 monthly rate.
Shortly afterward, the man called T-Mobile directly, who told him the call was a scam and to file a police report.
The man then contacted his financial institution and put a lock on his debit card account.
