ALLEN PARK — The Guitar Center, 23133 Outer Drive, learned Jan. 9 that the Music Go Round store in Ann Arbor inadvertently purchased a guitar Dec. 31 from an unnamed individual which they later suspected was stolen from the Guitar Center.
The Guitar Center staff then conducted an inventory, and discovered that a black and white Fender American Ultra II electric guitar, valued at $1,375, was likely the instrument sold to the Music Go Round store.
The Guitar Center discovered while taking inventory that a black and brown Gretsch G5655 electric guitar was also missing.
Police officers recommended that Guitar Center personnel review its surveillance camera footage for possible suspects.
