RIVERVIEW — A 34-year-old man who is in the process of relocating from Ohio to Michigan said he sped up to beat the red light the afternoon of March 15 on Fort Street near Williamsburg Drive, which he did with a revving engine in front a patrol officer.

The man’s Ohio driver’s license had been canceled, and his Michigan driver’s license was suspended.

The man was cited for driving with a suspended license. His passenger had a valid driver’s license, so the vehicle was turned over them.
