RIVERVIEW — A 26-year-old Brownstown Township man who ran a red light the night of June 2 while traveling east on Pennsylvania Road at McCann Street was subject to a traffic stop that revealed he had a suspended driver’s license.

The man, who had recently returned from living in Georgia, acknowledged that he did not currently have a valid driver’s license.

His vehicle, a 2008 Ford Escape, was impounded and towed.

He was cited for disobeying a traffic control device and for driving while his license was suspended. He was then given a courtesy ride to his home in Brownstown Township.
