LINCOLN PARK — A black bi-fold men’s wallet containing the victim’s Social Security card, Michigan driver’s license, and credit and debit cards was stolen from a silver 2020 Nissan Altima parked in the 1300 block of Empire Avenue.

A black 2009 Chevy Tahoe parked nearby was rummaged through, but nothing was taken.

The victim said both vehicles were locked at the time. There was no damage to the vehicles to indicate forced entry.

The man was advised to cancel his debit and credit cards, and to follow up with the Michigan Secretary of State’s office to get a new driver’s license.

The man said his home surveillance camera may have captured the incident, but he had not yet reviewed the footage. He promised to forward any actionable footage to the police detective bureau.
