DEARBORN — A Dearborn man was arrested for reckless driving at 1:10 a.m. July 20 after he crashed through a window on the west side of Masri Clinic, 13530 Michigan Ave., as he was turning left from eastbound Michigan onto northbound Schaefer Road.
Witnesses said that the driver had been doing burnouts on Michigan Avenue and was traveling at a high rate of speed. They said he attempted to turn onto Schaefer while driving about 55 mph when his vehicle fishtailed and he lost control of the black 2016 Chrysler 300, crashing through the clinic window.
Because the clinic contained prescription drugs, police officers stayed on the scene until the window was boarded up and the building was secured.
