MELVINDALE — The passenger in a stalled vehicle was guilty of poor timing the morning of Sept. 11 when he tossed trash out of a vehicle window just as a police officer was approaching the stranded motorists near Schaefer and Greenfield roads.
The driver said the vehicle had experienced a breakdown and that a tow truck was on its way. As they waited for their tow, the passenger had ample time to contemplate his fine for littering.
