DEARBORN – The Padzieski and EmmaJean Woodyard galleries will hold simultaneous opening receptions at 6 p.m. Jan. 15 for photography exhibits.
The annual Teresa Lousias Memorial Photography Exhibition at the Padzieski Gallery, which runs through Feb. 14, will feature the work of more than 40 photographers selected by juror Melanie Maxwell, Detroit Free Press director of photography.
Dearborn Community Fund Director EmmaJean Woodyard said the exhibit is generously supported by the Lousias family in honor of their late mother, who loved to share her passion for photography while supporting numerous art and cultural organizations and initiatives in the Dearborn community.
The opening reception, 6 to 8 p.m. Jan. 15, is at the Ford Community & Performing Arts Center, 15801 Michigan Ave.
The Padzieski Gallery is open from noon to 5 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and by special arrangement. For more information, call 313-943-5478 or go to padzieskigallery.org.

“Pathways to the Self” was curated by photographer Joel Geffen, who will speak during the opening reception.
The exhibit, which runs through Feb. 27, is open during normal library hours.
There is no admission fee to either gallery.
