Heights offers Moderna COVID-19 vaccinations April 25 at Berwyn Center

First vaccination of 2-shot series only; public invited

HEIGHTS – People who have yet to receive their first COVID-19 vaccination can get their first shot April 25 at the Berwyn Senior Center, 16155 Richardson.

The event will run from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is open to the public.

The first dose of the two-shot Moderna vaccination will be administered, and appointments for second doses will be provided following the first vaccination. Recipients must be 18 years of age or older to receive the Moderna vaccine.

Advance appointments are required, and can be scheduled by going to https://forms.gle/UCEMCkEbXsUJs29d7. Subject to vaccine availability, walk-ins will be accepted after 3 p.m. People without access to a computer can make appointments by calling 313-791-3420.

C-ASIST Family Clinic staff will administer the vaccinations.
