TAYLOR — A 27-year-old Southfield man currently living at a low-rent Taylor motel, whom loss prevention employees said shoplifts at Walmart, 7555 Telegraph Road, about four times a week, abandoned a cart with more than $200 in food on Feb. 18 after being confronted.
Loss prevention personnel said the man conceals store bags in his pockets, then bags the groceries he selects, placing them in his cart without going through checkout, and he then attempts to leave without paying for the items. He has reportedly been legally trespassed from the store.
