TAYLOR — Two purses, along with credit cards, identity documents, financial institution account access cards and Social Security numbers were reported stolen Dec. 15 from a woman’s unlocked 2012 Dodge Avenger in the 20900 block of Pinecrest Street.

The victim, a 29-year-old woman, said she does not have surveillance cameras at her residence, but will ask neighbors if their cameras recorded anything.

She said that an unauthorized person attempted to transfer money from her child support account to a cash app, which had not been approved at the time of her initial police report.

She later reported that her stolen purses were dumped, soaking wet, onto her porch.
