WYANDOTTE — A traffic stop for a defective headlamp the night of April 14 by two police officers with a K-9 officer present resulted in the arrest of a 45-year-old man for possession of four bags of cocaine and more than $1,200 in cash, which was likely the proceeds from drug sales.

Whereas the minor equipment violation would have likely resulted in a warning, the signs of illegal activity were present, which the K-9 officer confirmed.
