TAYLOR — A man reported June 9 that his Electronic Benefit Transfer card balance was illegally spent on groceries at a Walmart store in Arizona.
The victim said he contacted the Department of Health and Human Services when he did not receive his usual benefits by the third of each month, and they advised him of the out-of-state transaction. He said he has never been to Arizona, does not know anyone there and gave no one permission to use his EBT card.
