TAYLOR — A shoplifter who tricked a clerk into checking the storage room for an item took advantage of their absence the afternoon of July 16 to steal approximately $400 worth of personal care products from Sally Beauty Supply, 22287 Eureka Road.
The person was a tall, bald black man with a thin build, 30 to 40 years old, and wearing jeans.
Surveillance camera footage recorded the man leaving in a Ford Escape and captured a license plate number, but the number was not valid when entered into the Law Enforcement Information Network.
