TRENTON — A woman reported Feb. 22 that approximately $359 was fraudulently withdrawn from her Michigan Bridge electronic benefit card.
She said $400 had just been added to the account, and she had only made a $45 purchase.
State records showed an unauthorized transaction on Feb. 16 for a purchase made at “Englewood.”
The woman was given a police report number to submit to the state electronic benefit office personnel, and was advised to monitor all of her accounts for signs of identity theft and fraud.
