TAYLOR — A 42-year-old Taylor woman reported March 8 that someone fraudulently filed income taxes in her name online in a likely attempt to steal her income tax refund.

She said that when she went to H & R Block on March 4 to file her taxes, she was told that her taxes had already been filed, and her refund check was being sent to her grandfather’s house.

The victim said she suspects either her ex-husband, who lives in Florida, or her ex-husband’s other ex-wife, who lives in Texas, might have fraudulently filed her taxes.
