WYANDOTTE — A 23-year-old Pennsylvania man was arrested for operating while intoxicated the night of Sept. 28 when he was seen driving north in the southbound lanes of Biddle Avenue.

The man, who thought he was in Canton Township, invoked his “Fourth Amendment right” to remain silent, when he likely meant to invoke his Fifth Amendment rights.

He was arrested for operating while intoxicated, and refused to take a preliminary breath test, so a search warrant for a blood sample was sought.

After a blood sample was taken, he was housed in the jail to sober up.
