TAYLOR — The DailyPay account of a 44-year-old Taylor woman was fraudulently accessed Dec. 7 by an unknown individual who linked their Visa credit card to her DailyPay account and initiated a $796 money transfer.

DailyPay accounts allow low-wage employees who work paycheck-to-paycheck to access their earned wages ahead of their payday by paying a fee.

The victim said two of her personal bank accounts are linked to her DailyPay account, which she said no one else is authorized to access. There were no suspects.
