TRENTON — McDonald’s, 3355 West Road, reported the morning of March 7 that a woman tried to use a counterfeit $100 bill to pay for a food purchase.

When questioned by police officers, the woman, who was at a nearby bus stop, said she ripped up the bill in question and threw it away.

The McDonald’s employee said the bill felt different and had the word “copy” on it.  Store management said they did not wish to press charges, but wanted the woman banned from the business.
