TRENTON — A Coach change purse left in a shopping cart outside the Salvation Army Family Store at 3304 Van Horn Road on March 14 was stolen and a debit card fraudulently used.
The woman, who didn’t realize her purse was missing until she arrived home, called the store and asked an employee to look for it, but it was already gone.
The purse contained a driver’s license, debit card, credit union card, medical card and other miscellaneous identification.
The woman’s debit card was used to make a $60 purchase at a Walgreens store, a transaction the victim is disputing.
The victim said she canceled her other cards.
