TAYLOR — A police office dropping off a patrol car for service Sept. 22 at Taylor Chevrolet unexpectedly arrested an employee for assaulting a co-worker.

The victim said he was correcting his coworker on proper procedure, which angered the man, who swore at him. The service manager intervened, and warned the man if he swore again, he would be terminated. He did, and was fired.

The man then went to his co-worker and slapped him across the face. The victim then pressed assault and battery charges against the man. The man was also banned from the dealership.

The aggressor was taken into custody, where he was put on a suicide watch in his cell.
