MELVINDALE — A 58-year-old Taylor man said that when driving west in the 2500 block of Blanche Avenue the afternoon of Jan. 9 he had to suddenly maneuver out of the way of a speeding eastbound vehicle to avoid a head-on collision, which resulted in his white 2000 Ford F-150 sideswiping a parked gray 2016 Honda Pilot belonging to an Allen Park man.
Both vehicles sustained functional damage, but both were drivable. The driver of the pickup was uninjured.
