WYANDOTTE — A late-night traffic stop July 19 near Baumey Street and 12th Street resulted in the arrest of a 17-year-old boy who was reaching into a bag for a loaded assault rifle when an officer ordered him to stop and show his hands.
The firearm was stolen, had 30 rounds in the magazine and a round in the chamber ready to be fired.
