Motorcyclists make their way down Warren Avenue in Dearborn Heights surrounded by a crowd of supporters during the 2022 Wounded America Motorcycle Ride July 9. Dearborn Heights Police and Fire departments led the ride — consisting of motorcyclists from throughout the area — through Dearborn Heights into nearby Downriver communities. As a result of the ride — sponsored by the Rotary Clubs of Dearborn Heights, Taylor, Southgate, Trenton and Grosse Ile — over $30,000 was raised for Foundation 14 in Milan, and Wyandotte-based Downriver for Veterans, Dearborn Heights Mayor Bill Bazzi said.
