The Michigan Chapter of the Art of Living Foundation will host envoy of peace Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar at 7 p.m. Aug. 22 at Orchestra Hall as part of his 25-city U.S. tour focusing on mental health and his vision of creating a stress-free, violence-free society.
Shankar returns to Motor City for the first time in five years. As Michiganders navigate the stressors of growth and change along with the enduring stress and isolation of the COVID-19 pandemic, many yearn for inner peace and a deeper connection to themselves and others.
