WYANDOTTE — A 36-year-old Taylor man driving with an improper license plate, who was subject to a traffic stop the night of Nov. 22 on Fort Street near Cedar Street, was cited for having an unregistered vehicle and for narcotic possession, while his passenger, a 33-year-old Lincoln Park man, was arrested for resisting and obstruction after physically struggling with a police officer.

The passenger, who tried to avoid being identified, had an active arrest warrant for assault with the Wyandotte Police Department. The passenger was taken into custody while the driver was released at the scene with a warning.
